The Nepal–India Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NICCI) hosted a Farewell & Welcome Reception on 21 September 2026 at the Kathmandu Marriott Hotel, bringing together distinguished guests and members of the business community for an evening of appreciation and warm wishes. The reception marked the farewell of H.E. Naveen Srivastava, Ambassador of India to Nepal, and outgoing First Secretary (Commerce) Mr. Suman Shekhar, while welcoming incoming First Secretary (Commerce) Mr. Rishabh Deo.

The evening reflected the enduring warmth and depth of Nepal–India diplomatic and economic relations, built on longstanding ties, close people-to-people connections, and growing opportunities for collaboration. It also highlighted the important role of continued engagement between the diplomatic and business communities in strengthening bilateral trade, investment, and economic cooperation.
